Yep! This means I’m pregnant!! We are sooooooooooo excited. We’d been trying for a little sibling for Jaimee since I weaned her in April of ’09. We had two miscarriages in 2010. I’m in my 2nd trimester now (yay!) and we’re due Thanksgiving Day! Don’t know if it’s a boy or girl yet, but we will find out.

The 1st trimester was rough, not gonna lie. I spent most of it on the couch or in bed. I’m feeling better now as the 1st trimester symptoms fade, but I’m still having more fatigue than I was expecting. The chores of the household and my computer time as well as just plain getting out have suffered for it. And oh, my poor family! But then I just remind myself what it’s all for and I’m smiling again.

I’ve seen the Dr. and had an ultrasound on April 21st. He used the word “perfect” more than once during the ultrasound which was SO reassuring. I scrapped the ultrasound pic:

So there it is. The news that feels like I’ve been waiting forevah to share. The reason I was MIA in April and much of May. The reason Ron and I are so happy we can hardly describe it.
