I’m a digital scrapbooker.
Part of me is looking at the part of me that just said that and is going “What?!” What can I say? I totally love it. Love that I can just sit down and start. No gathering up the supplies (or having to clean up the mess from last time first). Love that things are soooooooooooooo easy to change. And all things are changeable! Love that I don’t have to plan ahead with printing out the photos in the sizes/colors/etc that I want. Love how quickly I can finish a page. Love the techy-geeky part of it. Love doing a photo book instead of an album. Love, love, love.
And today I got some super fun news. I won the latest Simply Inspired contest over at Designer Digitals! Two very cool things about this. One, it’s my favorite digital page I’ve created so far. I have no shame in saying I love this page. And two, I won a $10 GC for Designer Digitals as a prize! Great timing as we are painfully broke right now, lol. Here’s the page I won with:

Congrats on the contest win! You hit on one of the perks of digital scrapping there too – other than printing, it’s rather inexpensive since you can constantly reuse supplies and even change them up a bit (recolor, etc) to look different.
Sending prayers about the house. I imagine that is very stressful news. This is one of those times we have to be strong and remember God has a plan although it feels impossible to see. ((HUGS))

I am sad that you have gone over to the darkside but I totally understand and I love your work in digi. Since I can still CASE you, I’m good. LOL! Congrats on the award and the page is so precious! She is getting so big.

Hang in there, Kathleen! I can totally empathize with the not so fun side to moving and selling. I will pray that God has a good plan in mind that works out best for you and your family. I’m trying to decide if I can say “I am jealous of your digi layouts” or not!!! I still love paper and glue! Love the layouts though, they really are wonderful and sorry about the moving thing. I know that is sure something I don’t want to do.
