Is one 12th of 2009 really over already? How does that happen?! Last time I looked, it was Christmas and New Year’s. Which was GREAT for us, by the way. My sisters and their families came over here for Christmas dinner and they all spent the night! Then my dad came the next day and we all had brunch together. It was so cool to have everyone at our house. It’s the first time I’ve ever done a big holiday meal and entertained like that. I totally want to do it again next year. It was awesome. We also enjoyed spending time with Ron’s family too – aunts, uncles, cousins, and a bunch of little kids which makes Christmas so much enjoyable, doesn’t it? We decided kinda last minute to go down to southern California to spend some time with one of Ron’s cousins and her family which was so fun. Then we went to Disneyland! It was the first time we’ve ever been there while it’s dressed up for Christmas. We were there Jan 1st – 5th:

The castle all lit up at night was amazing and so magical. Here’s a pic of Ron & Jaimee while we were in line for the new Sleeping Beauty Castle walk-through:

And look how grown up Drew & Holly are getting!

It was a bit of an early celebration for… duh duh duh daaaaaaaaaaaa…..
My 40th (*gasp*) birthday which was the 18th. Yep, I hit the big four-oh. As in four-oh-my-Lord-you-are-kidding-me.
Age notwithstanding, Ron and I are going to start trying for another baby in July. Jaimee needs a little brother or sister close in age. And Jaimee has reminded us just how TOTALLY AWESOME it is to have a sweet precious little one. We’re loving every day (even though I’m sleep-deprived, heh) and already look forward to baby #4. I’m praying for a happy healthy baby. Cause you know… I’m like, old. And fat. Or, fat-ish. For me, that is. I’m 20 lbs more now than before getting pregnant with Jaimee. And ordinarily, that would really really bug me. But since we’re going to try and get preggers soon, why lose the weight? Plus, Jaimee is still nursing. So I need to keep up the calorie count and all.
So I will continue to eat the Kit Kat bars entirely guilt free. I have a box of them right here by my desk. Yes, a BOX of them. Why pay full price at the grocery store when you can get them at Sam’s Club in bulk for sooooooooo much less? heh.

HAPPY 40th!!
You look gorgeous, imo! And your kids are gettin so big. Jaimee is such a dolly
I am glad you had happy holidays Kathleen
I will be jealous if you get pregnant again. I want another, but am not allowed! LOL Good luck!
Glad you all had a wonderful Christmas & fun time at Disney. For the record – you look gorgeous in that photo. All 3 kids are growing up so fast! Little Jaimee just gets cuter and cuter.
Best of luck with trying for number 4! How exciting! I’m still trying to wrap my head around number 1 showing up here in July.
Happy 40th birthday
Your children are beautiful. They look like models.
Glad everything is going well for your family.
Kathleen,
Found your site accidentally. Hylah Cagle my granddaughter went to school with Drew at Adventure for a couple of years. She wanted to say “Hi” to Drew. The kids look awesome. The baby is adorable. Great to see some people we used to know from Adventure. We miss our friends there so much.
I love the Scrapbooking ideas. Wish I had alittle more time to do crafts. I am homeschooling Hylah and her brother Malin. He is still a handful.

YEA!!! I love pregnant Kathleen! hee hee. You guys all look fantastic and dh did a fantastic job with that glittery castle shot.
Oh yeah, you are just a whale – NOT! sheesh. It’s hard to be around you, because even 8+ months pregnant, you look thinner than me! good thing I am several states away. LOL! no, that’s not a good thing. I sure miss you
hugs
Kathleen,

You look GREAT! And you are so wise to not stress about the weight or the kit kat bars! I mainline the chocolate, too!
I think it’s awesome that you are going to have a little brother or sister for Jaimee! Your children are gorgeous!
We are doing well. Had a wonderful Christmas with all of David and Sharon’s boys here plus one of their oldest friends and all the cousins. (Right now, since we were the first to have children, there are 6 cousins and they are all under 7.)
I love your blog, it’s nice to keep up with you guys. I have done two digital scrapbooks now. I LOVE IT in some ways and hate it in others. For me, a very visual person who also loves the ability to quickly change things around on her business-like layouts, sometimes digital scrapbooking is a bit TOO abstract. I agree that templates are a great place to start. My first digital scrapbook for Zoey used a lot of backgrounds. On my second one I stuck with what I do best: a white background with words and pictures on it.)
Have a great 2009!
Candi
P.S. Happy anniversary!
